Baby diapers come in various designs and sizes. The
most common type of diapers for kids are the disposable diapers that are
equipped with good absorbent and are useful for traveling purposes. One
can also get reusable cloth diapers that need to be washed thoroughly
after each use. Cloth diapers come in many types. Square or rectangular
pieces of fabric can be used as diapers by folding in desired styles and
securing them with diaper pins or clips. Diapers are very handy and also
keep infants dry and comfortable.
Pre-fold diapers have multiple layers of absorbent material in the
center. They can be secured with pins or clips or wrap-style covers
secured by hook-&-loop fasteners. Contour diapers are hour-glass
shaped that fit compactly into wrap-covers and usually has a central
layer of absorbent material. Fitted or 'baby shaped' diapers have a
center layer of absorbent material, fasten at the waist using
'Velcro-like' or snap fasteners and have elastic at the legs.
'All-in-One' diapers have the diaper fabric, an absorbent center layer
and waterproof covering all in one.
Cloth diapers are more breathable, comfortable and chlorine-free but
disposables are better while you are traveling to get rid of all that
washing and cleaning during your trip. Cloth diapers with non-absorbent
liners keep baby's bottom drier and thus, prevent diaper rashes.
Disposable diapers are more expensive of the two. Cloth diapers are made
of natural fibers and healthier for the baby but disposable diapers keep
your baby drier and odorless while outside. Choose the one for your baby
and see him smile in comfort!
